Peaches ‘N Cream Dahlia
Does she live up to all the hype? Yes, yes she does!
I was skittish to grow her at first because of all the hype in the dahlia world surrounding her but I have to say she has risen through the ranks to become one of my top performing cut flowers.
Peaches ‘N Cream surprised me by being one of the earlier dahlias to bloom in our patch and she keeps blooming right up until a hard frost. Her color is beautiful shades of salmony peach with tips of cream and hints of soft orange peeking through here and there. She gets plenty of ‘oohs’ from our customers and can even surprise you with blooms that are solid peach. Though she is categorized as a formal decorative, the way her petals unfurl and reflex backward can make her look like a very full 4-5” ball of gorgeous color.
She grows about 3.5’, produces nice strong stems and is one of our more prolific bloomers. Summer heat and humidity don’t seem to bother her or negatively impact her flower production.
